BUILD STRENGTH WITH EXPERT COACHING
At The Strength Co., coaching isn’t an add-on, it’s the foundation of how we train. Every session is supervised by a certified Starting Strength Coach who watches your lifts, corrects technique, and ensures you’re progressing safely and efficiently. You won’t be handed a generic workout or left guessing what to do next. Our system is simple: structured programming, proper movement, and consistent progress.
We work with:
- Total beginners
- Adults training for health and longevity
- Busy professionals
- Competitive strength athletes
- Lifters returning from injury
WHAT IS STARTING STRENGTH?
Starting Strength is a barbell training method focused on teaching the fundamental lifts—squat, bench press, press, and deadlift—and building strength through structured progression. It emphasizes proper technique, efficient programming, and steady increases in weight over time, making it effective for both beginners and experienced lifters.
We use this method because it gives our coaches a clear system to teach, correct, and progress every lifter safely and consistently. The Strength Co. holds a Starting Strength Camp once a quarter, usually teaching the Squat and the Deadlift; they occasionally hold Press, Bench Press and Power Clean Camps as well.

Recently attended a Starting Strength squat and deadlift training camp here. Grant and Connor were great instructors, very knowledgeable and I appreciated how they really took the time to coach the movements. The gym was nice too, clean and efficient. Highly recommended!

★★★★★
I worked with Brad on an initial class to get me comfortable with the program, how to do all the necessary lifts and then go over future programming. He was excellent at teaching the lifts, extremely knowledgeable about the starting strength program and made me feel welcome to the gym. I look forward to working with Brad and The Strength Co. for a long time to come.

I am over 65 and starting barbell training over 4 years ago at the recommendation of a close friend. I took a two hour Intro to Barbells session from Coach Brad. Best money I ever spent and I would recommend anyone serious about training to do the same.

If you want to get stronger in a methodical, science based and safe way, this is the gym to join. My husband and I have been a member for a month now and after having a wonderful experience, have decided to continue for a second month. In a short time we’ve hit PR’s that I never thought possible.

★★★★★
If you want to get strong or stronger, this is your place. Top notch gym and instruction. I did a Starting Strength day camp with Grant & Brad. It was also great how they talked about the why (enjoying life while getting older) and the what (importance of sleep, rest, and nutrition) not just the how (proper form and program for squats and deadlifts).
