Our Personalized Gym Classes Teach People How To Get Stronger

Classes for everyone

As the only Starting Strength Gym in California we are here to help you get stronger than you have ever been. Whether it is your first time lifting weights, or if you are a seasoned athlete, we can help you safely perform your exercises and make progress.

We’ve taught hundreds of people to squat, bench press, press and deadlift using the Starting Strength method. Come and learn the lifts in a one on one environment and then join our group classes.

Our gym is also available to experienced lifters just looking for a private place to train with like minded individuals. Our open gym classes are available for powerlifters, weightlifters or anyone that needs a coaches eye while training in a fun environment.

Group sessions, 1-on-1 attention

When you come to class you will get your very own power rack, barbell and deadlift station. We know your time is important and we want it to be used effectively in the gym. No wasted time, you can walk in, know your workout and get right to work.

Our group classes are one hour and fifteen minutes long, plenty of time for you to complete a Starting Strength Novice Linear Progression workout. A coach will be there the entire time, helping you calculate warmups, answer your questions and coach you personally as you perform your work sets.

It’s your very own personal trainer in a group format, at a fraction of the normal cost.

Get fit, not hurt

We understand that most people can be intimidated by the idea of strength training, especially with barbells. Our goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence on how to lift weights safely and effectively.

Each of our coaches has vast experience working with all types of lifters with all sorts of injuries and life circumstances. Your coach will make sure to tailor the program specifically for you.

While the Starting Strength program is simple, everyone is different and will encounter different challenges. Working with an experienced coach will take the guesswork out of your training.
